Privacy Policy
How Relay collects, uses and protects your information.
Last updated: July 2026
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — your name, email address, organization details, and the audio content you create (recorded pages, uploaded tones and music, text-to-speech messages) — plus operational information generated by your devices (connection status, hardware health metrics, playback confirmations) and standard usage information (log data, IP addresses).
How we use it
- To deliver the service: routing pages, ringing bells, streaming music, and firing alarms on your devices.
- To provide history and accountability: audit logs of pages, bells, alarms and account changes.
- To operate billing, send service notifications, and respond to support requests.
- To monitor platform health and prevent abuse.
Support access
Our support staff cannot view or change your account's content unless you explicitly enable support access from your dashboard. You can revoke it at any time, which also terminates any active support sessions. Every support action is audited.
Data security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Device configuration stored on your hardware is encrypted at rest with per-device keys. Devices authenticate with individually scoped credentials, and software updates are cryptographically signed.
Data retention & export
Operational history is retained according to your account's retention settings. You can export your account data at any time from the dashboard. When an account is deleted, its data is purged after a 30-day grace period.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service (hosting, email delivery, payment processing), each bound to process it solely on our behalf.
